Hi, I am AnnaMarie (Annie), a Registered Dietitian and Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN) candidate who specializes in eating disorders and pediatrics.

Let's be honest... eating can feel really hard sometimes. If meals feel stressful, overwhelming, or exhausting, you are not alone, and you don't have to figure it out by yourself.

My background is rooted in clinical, evidence-based care, where I've spent years supporting adolescents and adults through therapeutic meals, nutrition counseling, and recovery-focused care. That means I am not just here to talk about food; I am here to sit with you in the hard moments and build the skills and confidence that actually translate into your daily life.

I have a strong knowledge of pediatric and family-based nutrition, so I understand the difficulties of feeding dynamics. Early eating experiences shape our relationship with food for years to come. I am here to guide your whole family to have healthy relationships with food.

In addition to my clinical work, I've received advanced training through Rutgers' LEND fellowship, where I focus on interdisciplinary care and supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. This has strengthened my ability to provide flexible, individualized care that truly meets people where they are. Additionally, I am a Certified Lactation Counselor, which allows me to support mothers and families through infant feeding and early nutrition.

As a DCN candidate, I bring a doctoral-level approach to my work, combining strong clinical reasoning with the ability to translate research into care that is practical, personalized, and actually doable. My approach is weight-inclusive, non-diet, and evidence-based. I offer supportive and compassionate counseling. I will challenge you when needed, but I'll also be right there with you through it. Whether you are working on eating more consistently, expanding your food choices, reducing anxiety around meals, or reconnecting with your body, my goal is to help eating feel less overwhelming and more manageable over time.

Through 1:1 sessions and group meal support, we don't just talk about change, we practice it together. You'll build confidence, flexibility, and trust in yourself in a way that actually sticks outside of sessions. At the end of the day, you deserve to feel at ease with food, and with the right support, that is absolutely possible.

Eating should be easier! I am here for you.

My Approach to Care

My approach to care is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe and respected in their body. I practice from a weight-inclusive, anti-diet perspective, meaning our work focuses on sustainable health behaviors and healing your relationship with food rather than numbers on a scale. Together, we work collaboratively to dismantle the rigid rules of diet culture that have made eating feel like a constant battlefield.

Nutrition therapy with me is trauma-informed and deeply compassionate. I understand that the road to recovery is rarely linear, and I am here to provide the steady support you need to navigate the complexities of eating disorders and pediatric feeding. My goal is to help you or your child find a sense of ease, making meals feel more possible and significantly less stressful for the whole family.

By prioritizing autonomy and dignity, we create a space where healing can truly begin. Whether you are navigating a long-term struggle with food or seeking to raise an intuitive eater in your home, our partnership is centered on your unique values and needs. Together, we move toward a life where food is just food, and nourishment becomes a source of strength rather than anxiety.

You don’t have to struggle alone.

Recovery starts with a single step. We want you to know that you don’t have to wait until you feel "sick enough" to reach out. You deserve nourishment and care exactly where you are today.
